I know nothing of the game but in this case, I'll give credit where due, I got a smile from it.

If Dobson made a career out of simple quick smiles like this he could have something going... if he wasn't ruled by an ego.

Anyone who knows Batman will know he's smart and can beat the riddler with tons of planning and thought, but sometimes you are just wanting him to just slug the jerk and in this, he takes a current event drama over a game mechanic, and a feeling all batman fans have and boom, quick good comic.
 
His color choice is piss weak, his lighting is just half-assed strobe effects, the Batmobile looks like a toy tractor Batman stapled sheet metal on and his line work once again destroys the fuck out of his figures. Also what's the point of having a stronger light backdrop that don't match the coloring?

Oh my gawd he's gotten so bad that I can see his fuck-ups now.:cryblood:

A huge part of history is remembering the foolish behaviour of those who were defeated in the past... And despite what SJW seem to think, there is merit in white cultural identity and history - even and especially the parts we disapprove of nowadays! So instead of trying to destroy a culturally and historically significant monument, why not use it as a memorial for the errors of the past and make it the centre of an awareness campaign? Given that I have no clue what that person is going on about, but it reeks of revisionism.
Destroying monuments cause you disapprove of the people who errected them or the reason why they were errected is pretty much like the ISIS blowing up the ruins of Niniveh for some vague religious reason.
It's ignorant and lacks respect for the past... as well as it's a clear display of the inability to deal with the past in a mature way.

She is taking about South Carolina lawmakers debating on wether or not to remove the Confederate flag form its capital building. This has sparked an internet wide movement to remove the flag in other areas as well. Inspiring places like e-bay, Amazon, Sears and Wal-Mart to no longer sell any merchandise with the flag on it.

Though I do believe the are fine with it being in places like museums as a means of remembering mistakes of the past, as you said.

EDIT: And hopefully they wont mess with the General Lee.

EDIT2: Just did a quick such and apparently the flag debate has actually got people talking about destroying Confederate monuments as well.

I have played the game before this and the entire game looks like that. So while I said I like the cartoon I don't want to go full white knight but I get why he did that, assuming it was intended.

Also to me the issue of the bat mobile being a hassle in the game, I'd say he's smart to make it look silly same with batman's awful face. Granted I didn't pick apart the art because I can't really comment on it.
 

Dobson. It's not that people want your work to develop in an inorganic, linear fashion, it's that they want you to stop taking criticism about the same way lead floats.

It's fine if you work in a way that "Feels right to you" the problem is that what feels right to you seems to be the idea that your work is absolutely perfect and should not be changed in any way shape or form and anyone who suggests otherwise is the devil and that attitude is perfectly fine because people on the internet treated you like shit.

I'm my own biggest critic. I've destroyed manuscripts because they aren't good enough. Everything came out shit.

Leads to an interesting observation. I can't recall what it's called for the life of me... I saw someone post about running Dylan Roof's racist manifesto through it and decided to check it out.... Basically you post text in it and it analyzes the authors personality.

Started running a bunch of things through it. Most of them for laughs. Eventually I got the idea - What would it say about Dobson?

Among other things? His primary interest in work is Prestige.

My own results said Self-Expression.

I think that's the difference. I think that's why Dobson has this attitude that negative criticism is the devil. Because he is so concerned with prestige. Reputation. Becoming a famous cartoonist so he can rub it in the face of some guy who made fun of him in High School.

I want to write something beautiful. Something worthy of calling a Magnum Opus. It doesn't matter if people like it or I ever see a dime from it. I think that is what making art should be about. Creating something amazing.

I think Dobson is more interested in being known for his work. Maybe I'm wrong, but I haven't seen him indicate otherwise.
 
Dobson making comics about a game he's never played and never will play because it isn't on Wii U, basing the comic only on what he's heard about the game second hand via Twitter.

2/10 for effort Dobson.

Now I have to back all the nice things I just said.
Go try to lesbian kiss a bus coming at you at 75mph.

Perfect example why he'll never make it, throws together a cartoon that anyone can get a kick out of (I know nothing of the game don't plan on playing it either) but it's funny because as a batman fan I get it.

If I knew nothing of him I'd probably poke on his DA going this guy's got wit... then you see shit like this and wish he had a case of SIDS.
