That sounds like a dumb tactic. I don't play Splatoon, but it's a capture an area type of game I believe. A 1-to-1 death isn't beneficial in most FPS games except under strict circumstances (by taking out this guy, you're saving an objective or saving more lives), but a territory control game makes it even seem more dumb, because if he has another teammate around, he just retakes the territory and more while you respsawn.

Admittedly not knowing much about Splatoon (Red Orchestra 2 being my shooter of choice), wouldn't this tactic work only against the most inattentive and skilless of enemies?
I've been playing it the last week and it's the tactic people who aren't very good at the game use, basically just running around wildly hoping for the best.

Anyone with a ranged weapon can easily pick you off or if someone is good with the roller they'll use its short ranged attack (It flicks paint in an arc when you initially start to roll).

Somebody mentioned MLP?

Holy shit. Even Fluttershy has a smug look like that fucking bear.

Yeah generally suicide attacks are kind of a last resort thing, or the refuge of a bad player. Normally it ain't a problem but he seems to revel in his inability to work with his team. :(

The many I went against (Dobson included -_-) don't use the short range attack. It makes my job easier at picking them off.

So WAY back at the end of Season 3 of "Legend of Korra," when Korra is confined to a wheelchair as Asami pushes her around, I had this idea. I had seen this animated gif on tumblr (which I posted in the attachments so y'all can see it) of two anime girls careening down a slope on a wheelchair. And it just looked so bad-ass (and hilarious at the same time) that I couldn't help but imagine what it would be like if it were Korra and Asami.

So today I finally finished that. Part of what was preventing me from doing it is that I stupidly FORGOT the link to the gif and the source, so I had to wait until it popped back up on my social media links again randomly. From what I can tell the Anime is called "To Aru Kagaka no Railgun S."

Had a lot of fun with this one. Drawing the wheelchair was hard and I'm sure there's plenty of mistakes with it. Got to try out a new brush on the backgrounds too. Overall, quite pleased with it! ENJOY!

Well.. way to suck all the potential fun out of the piece as usual, Dobson. Also worth mentioning: Star of David in the spokes?
Also also, JESUS CHRIST. Korra's hand is going to (at least) get friction burned so badly doing that.
Either the hexagram is a Korra thing or Dobson does not understand motion blurs.

Dobson hates people who use ranged weapons because they ruin his suicide bomber method of playing.

Dib Dob reblogged this a little earlier. It seems that whenever it's women teaching a guy a lesson, instant reblog, no matter the context of it. Despite the Flash making a reasonable point, Black Canary responds that way. Hypocrisy at its finest by Dobson.

Here's the problem with that argument: the bad guys would have to catch Flash before they could flip his mask. All Black Canary has to do is make a slight misstep on uneven ground and - BLAM! - instant broken ankle or, at best, broken shoes. You can't call time to take off your now worse than useless shoes in the middle of a battle.

I'm surprised he's still so hung up on Korrasami. After the creators came out with those self-congratulatory blog posts saying Korrasami was canon and that their show healed people Dobby went back to look for the signs (after having been an early supporter of the ship, mind you), and even he admitted he couldn't find any real signs that Korrasami actually happened in the show beyond one brief hand-holding moment. I even remember his defeated tweets about it. So did he just stop caring that the show's pretentious hipster showrunners lied to him and just hold on to Korrasami anyway?

You don't even need ranged weapons, I've played against him and it's too easy getting behind him and get him.
Most rollers are like that, you just need to draw their attention, they come rolling at you, get around them and they are done.

Dobson holds on to his own beliefs regardless of what others (including the own creators) says. I mean, just look at all the shit Dobson brings on other artists for their very own art; one thing is bringing critique and other is demonizing someone just because he draws something you don't like. But that's our Dobson, if he didn't drew it himself, then it's bad because reasons.

Well the weird thing is the creators did agree with him, even if they were full of shit and never actually had any lez-boning in the show they swear they put it in. But then Dobson himself went back to--I guess reminisce, or do some nerdy victory lap or something, and got all sad when he, himself, couldn't find the supposed proof Korrasami was a thing.

So he, himself, saw that Brian Ko-Ko-Puffs and Mike DeanMartin were full of shit and there was no Korrasami, and confirmed that he saw it, but I guess he just defaulted back to it? Like, what, if he doesn't have his stories of Brown-Bender and Pretty Rich Girl scissoring he doesn't know how to live in this world?

Someone mentioned this earlier in the thread but he really is bad at hiding how much he's into femdom. I think his support of "strong" female characters has as many secret motivations as his desire for lesbian couples.

Hold up, does that mean she's making the argument that it's okay for women to have impractical parts to their outfit because men do too?
What a fucking dumb point.

Also, the idea that it's okay for women to have impractical outfits is something totally out of the water for Dobbins, the idiot. That's going against everything he's been preaching, but it's right because the lady in the picture books said so.

I kind of wonder if it's actually meant as a slam against the people who complain about lady superheroes having sexy/impractical outfits? Basically saying that realistic costume design has never been a priority for characters of either gender. (See also: capes)

Of course, the fact that it's ambiguous enough to go either way is probably why they wrote it in the first place.
