When you think about it, it's a great way to get exposure as an aspiring artist, especially on social media like Facebook and the likes. Why is it giving an 'inspirational message'? What's with that trend in the first place? The two aren't even remotely related but I see it all over social media suddenly.
Doodle some image and put some mildly motivational text on it. Pretentious blokes will share it on their social media feeds and spread it over the internet.
Of course, it's pretty much like the Tumblr-Nose or the 2-frame GIF, where it's an ok idea to do it when barely anyone else does, until there's such a huge crowd that it becomes annoying.

Sorry. I couldn't hear you over the sound of Tolkein rolling in his grave.
Just you wait for Jackson's big next project "Legolas - Lust for Glory" where it's revealed that Legolas did in fact win the War of the Ring on his own, the angry spinning of Tolkien's body will be able to provide electrical energy to a medium sized city.
Edit:
And here I thought using the term slut was a no-go for SJWs?
Be that as it may: Yeah, Treebeard is pretty much at fault. Also Gandalf, the entire remainder of the Fellowship, Frodo's relatives and pretty much a shitton of other people - Humans and Hobbits alike - who simply let it happen cause they were too timid to defend their home against the shit Sharker pulled in the shire. Dobson, you fucking idiot.
Treebeard, Gandalf and the others who let Saruman (and his little companion) walk their ways in the end of the story do so out of pity and the hope he might return to the good side once again.
It's the fucking core aspect of the books, to be kind, forgiving and give people a chance to change for the better. It's the reason Gandalf adviced Frodo in Moria against holding a grudge against Gollum when they talked about Gollum and it's the reason Frodo trusted Gollum shortly before being betrayed at Cirith Ungol. And what lead that to? The destruction of the ring, cause without Gollum, Frodo would have just taken the ring and the War of the Rings would have failed... which would have lead to the downfall of the entire fucking continent. Oops.
So yeah, I can't be the only one that's amused by Dobson's open display of complete ignorrance on this aspect of the story, especially since it deals with compassion, kindness and forgiveness.
And on another sidenote:
The scouring of the shire is important in the context of the book, since that's one of the major themes. The Hobbits suddenly have to defend themselves and fight, something that hasn't happened ever in the Shire.
Also, the shit he retweets...
I have a feeling this has more to do with this person being ungrateful than anything else.
Cause parents shouldn't be allowed to raise their children as they want. We need whiny self-declared warriors to offer no helpful advice at all while being all high and mighty about things they most likely have a rather biased and messed up understanding of in the first place.
