I guess Dobbles and the author of that comic have never found Avengers slash-fics.

Anyhoo, Dobby's quitting dA again, eh?

Man, it's not entirely related here but I am so sick of the whole "NOOO DON'T OBJECTIFY WOMEN!!!" schtick. Really I am. If it makes a woman 'uncomfortable' for a character to be seen as attractive, then clearly her life is just so perfect that a drawing of a sexy female superhero is the only thing that can upset her. I can't think of a single normal woman I've known that is made 'uncomfortable' by sexy women, real or fake. Really.

Not all women like metrosexual men. Many who do are young and grow out of it once they no longer feel intimidated.

Per usual, SJWs project their preferences onto everyone. The outspoken people who they cannot project onto are immoral for having an independent mind and preferences of their own. It's sociopathic.

It's not the sexy part that makes women feel uncomfortable, at least in my experience. It's the vulnerability. A picture of boobs has never made me feel uncomfortable. What does make me feel uncomfortable is a woman drawn to look both vulnerable and sexy, as if she's about to be raped or hurt somehow, but her distress is intended to titillate. The combination of helplessness and sexiness is very off-putting. If anything contributes to rape culture, that's probably it. Not an innocent picture of boobies.

Aaaand there's the butthurt squad whining about how I destroyed their god and how I'm a piece of shit. Lol, I already knew this, but dA was a stinking pile of poop since years ago. It's just nice to see that reinforced now.

I didn't know about his society6.com/adobson
account, I guess he's not read the terms in conditions where it says you have to "own all intellectual property rights in your Content or that you have obtained all copyrights, trademark rights, rights of publicity and other rights required for you to make your Content":

As a law abiding citizen of the internet I had to report such violations! :ween:

He'll probably come crawling back to deviant art at some point. That's where he gets his 'views'. I cant think of anywhere else Dobson gets exposure....
What are we chopped liver?

Just like I'm sure deep down Dobbie knows most of those "stay" votes are from people who want a laugh.

I still wanna see a version of that shitty strawman setup but it turns out the guy's actually gay/bi and loves the new drawings.

Also I second @CuriousBystander on uncomfortable stuff. Unless the pain/whatever is something the subject is clearly into, it gets uncomfortable fast.

An example of what we're talking about. The poses Dobson chose were of empowering sexuality; the men were clearly in control of the situation and enjoying showing off their bodies. This is what he would have drawn if he wanted to make a point.

NSFW, obviously.

In the same way, plenty of men are put off by the countless vulnerable male doofus nerd schlub loser protagonists.

But this is simply a personal matter. Creative people ought to create what they want to.

Magic Girls
Published 4 hours ago

These are some rough sketches I did for a Magical Girl anthology zine. Ultimately I did not end up producing anything for the zine because I realized... I am really bad at Magical Girl designs. lol

So one of two things happened:

1. The magazine was collecting open submissions. Dobson attempted to submit something, but pussed out half-way.
2. The magazine wanted to commission him. They took one look at his rough draft and laughed him out of a job.

My money is on number one. Stop trying to make it sound like people care about your art, Dobby.

Bare midriffs, high heels, breasts, see-through skirts not even trying to hide a panty shot. "Stop drawing sexist crap!" indeed.
Drawing the panties on the girl on the right, is the most unsettling part. He either planned on not giving her a dress or over wear or just wanted to see them there's no need to draw them like he did.

I think he tried to draw booty shorts with a see-through skirt or something but it just looks so bad because it was half assed. Or maybe Dobson wanted his magical girl to fight in her panties.

In other news: Come on Dobson, draw Link in Zelda's dress like what was shown as an option in the new game at E3. You know he wants to.

That sounds like the cover of pretty much every Harlequin romance.

It's also the exact kind of thing men like Dobson love because of their white knight fantasies. They jump in with SJW stuff so much partially so that no matter if stories have to change, they can keep their fantasies alive in some way.
