That's because Dobson & Sarkeesian, Aaron Diaz & Moviebob Chipman... all they care about are their egos & that all modern fiction should cater to their every demand. They don't give a damn about real-life suffering, bigotry, & injustice.

All they want to do is whine about insipid first world problems and ruin other people's enjoyment of fiction.

Yes, it seems worthy to make a background check upon this guy. And I'm not really surprised he's going to defend Dobson, I mean, bad artists must help each other or they all risk to perish.

When he says 'job' I think he's refering to his usual dayjob that he does due to his artist-shtick not being profitable enough.
That said, he's an idiot. I assume he's talking about some Mario-game that lets you design your own levels? Dobson is the kind of idiot that churns out one or two levels and imagines that he's somehow revolutionized platforming. And he certainly wouldn't pay attention to the fact that he's not the only one to do so and just assume that his work somehow stands out...

What a baby. I hope you were politely pointing out things to him so he can't whine about how "this troll" was mean to him. Ah, who am I kidding, you could hand him over a very nicely worded, well-thought out critique that's engraved on a huge flat piece of gold and Dobson would whine about how inconsiderate the "trolls" have been pointing out his failures in such mean ways - and seriously, only 3 pounds of gold for the plaque? These movements are never about freedom or liberty, it's about enslaving of the mind and an example of crab mentality.
So some scientist helped sending a probe to an asteroid on the other end of the solar system? Well fuck that noise, he was wearing a sexist shirt... and we'll just ignore the fact EVERY FEMALE FELLOW EMPLOYEE came to his defence pointing out he's a nice guy -and- that it was a present from a female friend.
Someone did a great deed that is pushing the horizon of human understanding? Let's talk about his wardrobe instead!
Hundreds of (partially prepubescent) females being raped by Boko Haram in Africa? Well gee, can't focus on that right now, some numbnut called me a bitch on twitter!
Domestic abuse of women in India? Bah! There's this game with a female lead character and she's wearing clothes I disapprove of.

It's simply disgusting. It's a vain, egotistical way of seizing control over a part of society, over how they speak, how they think and how they behave. I am disgusted there's people using words like "triggered" or the concept of rape and water it down to a point where it starts to mean "that one time I was inconvenienced slightly". And I am disgusted that people defend this. I can't fathom how people will look at the bullying, the lies and the slander and think to themselves "Yeah, this is the right reaction to a guy making a game with a girl in a bikini in it." I can't fathom how people will defend an outcry like with that one God of War title where some female gets slapped in the face... in a game where the protagonists kills a hundred mooks per level.
I just don't get it.

Then again, I'm all for equality and freedom of speech, so that's why I will never support these feminazi assholes and their self-centred, self-righteous crusades against made-up first world problems.

I sure as hell hope not. I stopped reading when they got to the making out part, and that was in the first chapter.
 
Dobson's tantrums when he gets criticized are pretty funny. But also kinda sad.
I remember him saying a few times in the past that he has depression, and maybe agoraphobia as well, but is it known whether or not he has been professionally diagnosed? Depression would explain his lack of motivation. Because even with meds you aren't that perky when you are in the thick of it. But his irritability doesn't fit well with the signs of someone on typical antidepressants. I know it is different for everyone, but they are called 'happy pills' for a reason. Back when I first started on mine, when I was finally eased up onto my max dosage I was flyin' high. I could have been hit by a truck and still say I had a good day. I honestly did not give a shit. Internet comments wouldn't have bothered me a bit. (Even the lesser dose I am on now keeps me feeling pretty numb.)

Dobson is a curious little man. He is interesting to watch, because it is so obvious that he needs to be talking to a therapist, but it doesn't seem like he is. Because he isn't making any efforts to better himself. So we are just watching this guy get lower and lower. It's a really morbid show. But it is one he cast himself in. He had plenty of chances to get help, but he pushed them all away. And now he is all alone, eating burgers every day, and doing everything short of whoring himself out for Patreon supporters.
