What the fuck is going on in that comic?
So... why did Dobson feel a need to emphasize Mario's crotch with a little line, here?
All he has to do really is treat his own professional work just like he approaches these Splatoon doodles and also because he's doing these more for himself than for anyone else, he can put more effort into making them good. Maybe it's something about deadlines that causes him to lock up and produce crap.Personally, I think his doodles are more interesting visually than his fucking patron drawings.
He just doesn't wanna put the effort into his work when it matters.

I don't think he likes making art. Having to grow or extend himself in anyway possibly scares him.
The doodles are a 'cheap' way of convincing himself that he's still an artist.
this actually makes sense
Cause the game can't just be a fun little experience to play with friends or enjoy on your own, oh no. It has to be pretentious 3deep5me nonsense to brag about how it's smart and has such a strong message, when in fact, there is nothing to that fact.
If "both sides think they are the good guys" equals "deep and meaningful message about war" in someone's mind, I'd say they never moved past watching carebears and teletubbies. Jesus.
Edit: Also what's with that ridiculous Jaden-Smith-style capitalization?
Yet, if people think that's profound and deep, it tells us a lot about said people. The idea of two opposing sides thinking of themselves as the real good guys is not profound or deep. It's first grade, Spongebob.
Late, but goddamn. This is a basic tenet of acting. No villain (barring the very simplistic ones you find in media for the very young as you pointed out) really thinks of themselves as a villain. Good ones usually have very complex and compelling reasons for doing what they do, even if it boils down to taking the planet hostage for ONE MILLION DOLLARS. They don't just wake up one day and decide "I'm going to be evil!" They usually (gasp!) think of themselves as the good guy.

"It's everybody else's fault I suck at Splatoon! Why should I have to adjust how I play?""Oh no, people might see my art D:"

Dobbles dijo:Glitch in the System
Published 57 minutes ago
Hey everyone. It was brought to my attention recently that a large portion of the art I've been uploading for the past month or so have been set to "everyone" despite me setting it specifically for "$1+ Patrons"
This means that all the illustrations and art you've been paying me money to get to see first, has been available for everyone to see for free.
I've been informed by Patreon themselves that this is a glitch and a mistake on their behalf. They are working to correct and rectify this glitch in their systems. In the meantime I'd like to apologize to my patrons for this error. I'll try to make it up to y'all with some extra content this month.
Also, if you ever see me posting something marked for "everyone" again, please let me know right away so that I can correct that glitch and make it set to "$1+ Patrons" right away. I do not intend for any of the art here to be seen by anyone but people who support me, so if anything does show up for everyone, it's likely due to the glitch in the system again and I need to correct it.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience.
