Not to mention the incredibly dull looking shoes instead of the colorful and super detailed sneakers the inklings are supposed to use: He also got the wrong eye color, she's an orange inkling, the hair and the eyes are supposed to match.
Knees? what are those?. Couldn't the steam roller be any less detailed? because seriously, look at any splatoon image and the only 2 things with lots of details are the snickers and the weapon they use, but since it's Dobson, everything is bland and dull... and don't make me start on the background.
Dobson doesn't drop the ball, he let it falls and kick it in the opposite direction.

I watched a video and the eyes are customizable so I think I can let Dobbles slide with that one. The texturing is still pretty lazy though.

Yep, the eyes can be customized. The stuff that changes is the headwear, one that includes contact lenses so dunno if that actually changes with the color, but otherwise the eyes stay the same regarless of the color.

So, what about the body shows it's supposed to be Jimmy Neutron?

Though I usually leave the art critiques to others I find the combination of highly detailed (wonton head) and over simplification (the body) a bit jarring. Perhaps, at least to me, the high detail section makes the low detail section feel much more flat. Almost like a cardboard cutout.

I had to play a good five rounds with the Splat Roller to actually be on the losing team... What a boring, effortless weapon.

I'd normally expect someone about to dip below $80 a month in wages to put a little more effort in than this… but then again this is Dobson.

Almost feels like he's grumbling away at how his fans are cheapskates and so he's only gonna put in the minimum amount of effort.

It may be late, but Dobson claims that his "No Morals" strip on copying and pasting backgrounds into his strip was based on an actual conservation with one of his clients. That might be hard to verify either way if it took place off the Internet, but I have this niggling suspicion that this "client" is aware of Dobson's history.
