There was also a time-lapse video of him drawing his smug bear as different characters.

The actual rough drawings themselves don't look too bad but something really gets lost when he inks them IMO.

Still hate that bear though.

It's that his lines are too thick. That Rocket Raccoon...oof. He doesn't put variation in his lines in regards to how light hits the figure. It also seems that Dobs doesn't use line weight to the appropriate style.

Dobson, like many bad artists, would claim that this is cramping his style or something.
I'm all for artists taking liberties with other styles, such as drawing a character in their own style instead of the original artist's. However, Dobson doesn't have a style to draw something in, so he has no excuse.

Unfortunately the mistakes that are glaringly obvious in the final inked form are less visible here only because the pencil lines are thinner and lighter. Stitch's face is full of unnecessary lines and his pose is really symmetrical. Also his passive role here bugs me. Movie Stitch doesn't stand by idly while other's cause mayhem: he's out in the heart of it to create as much destruction as possible. I also have a feeling that Dobson heavily "referenced" a frame from the movie during the opening scene. And he still fucked it up.

Rocket meanwhile is unintentionally stepping on one of Stitch's feet. Although Dobson looked up his outfit he wasn't particularly bothered with studying the head/face, or that of any raccoon in general. It seems more like a opossum pretending to be a raccoon. There's also a huge difference in hand and finger size there.

Both characters have half-assed fucked up feet. Like when Dobson got there he was long ready to be done drawing and probably didn't care what they looked like because it was "just" the feet, why should they have the same care as the rest of the character?

He's getting all excited about the Irish gay marriage referendum.

I supposed I shouldn't begrudge him, since it's worth getting excited about, even if your support for gay rights does come from fapping about lesbians. But I couldn't help chuckle when I saw he'd retweeted a picture of a gay couple proposing after the result was announced. Guess what their gender was.

If you only knew about homosexuality from Dobson's "activism" you'd doubt that gay men even existed.

It reminds me of those Sherlock fangirls who were so happy about the UK allowing same-sex marriage since last year.
