Honestly, if it weren't already for his dickish behavior, terribad art and "LA-LA-LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" attitude to criticism. That would be the worst thing about him.

Just occurred that there is a context where "character basically replaces another" might actually work. Mainly when it's made to play on any similarities between them. So for instance you have two siblings, the younger one is technically more talented but stuck in their older sibling's "shadow" and generally seen as inferior in universe, slapping them into the roles of Mario and Luigi for instance would actually work since it plays off similar dynamics and quirks.

Of course, I'd almost be inclined to pay to see how Dobby sees himself in all of the characters he's bastardized with his bear...

Honestly I find the way he drew his bear's face on this picture to be far less annoying than he usually draws it. It's still smug as shit but it doesn't seem as forcibly smug as the other ones. Maybe because of less face wrinkles? I don't know.

Still really bad hands though. The one holding up the fire would probably look way better without the visible "knuckles" (or warts or whatever). I don't know what's going on with the other hand though. Is he holding it out in front of his body or is it supposed to be on his hip? If it's the latter, then it just looks really weird.
