Every time he tries to draw what he thinks is a "gay" male character, I can't really tell them apart from anything else he draws and when he does draw lesbians, it ends up being also generic as fuck.

There was a character from an anime that looked just the same as his Sherlock fellow. They were pointing it out in an older SomethingAwful thread. Can't remember it for the life of me, I'll see if I can find it again.

I was looking at Dobon's character, Alex, no wonder she looked so familiar. Alex looks like Shelly from Pokemon pre-Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. I think someone also mentioned Captain Syrup too.

Huh, and there I though Alex was just a Lina Inverse ripoff with Dobbo Wobbo's personal, if somewhat bland, take on pirates added to the mix. What a creative artist!

I was watching a YouTube video about Dobson that mentioned that Alex Ze Pirate looked just like this a few years ago, back when Dobby actually had some sort of sense of humor. Even this drawing of his looks more passable to me than the shit he makes now.
