This is a depressively common rhetorical technique, especially on the internet. Assume/imply that everybody who says something critical about you is a massive obsessive whose whole life revolves around hating you.

It takes 5 minutes to make an anti-Dobson post. Plenty of time left to have a job, a relationship, several hobbies, cook three square meals and get a full night's sleep.

He was part of the current Twitter war Dobson had going with Rebecca Cohen and Captain Draco, but it looks like his tweets were deleted (there were only two). I'd have to dig through the hundred pages of ED thread to find it exactly where they tell him to shut up.

Yeah, well, I was trying to give Dobson the benefit of the doubt and assume he was aiming at the more committed end of the anti-Dobson spectrum.
 
I can't believe I'm saying this but he should go back to drawing his 'original' work. His fanart is just awkward to look at.

Gene, Louise, and Linda all have the same face. Dobby has gone full B^Uckly on us.

All of the poses look so stiff and none of the characters appear to actually be interacting with each other. Is Bob supposed to have his arm around that one woman? Where is Gene and that blue character in relation to each other? Why are they on a beach? The longer I look at this image the more questions I have.

None of the SU characters are actually portrayed in character here.
The beach I guess is arguable since both cartoons take place in beach towns.

Gene's face is also melting.

A) As already been pointed out multiple times: 'Hate' is too strong a word. There are short flickers of hate when he does his whiny, pathetic woe is me shtick or when he's being smug about some strawman bullshit, but truth being told, I couldn't give less of a shit about Dobson. I spend some time a day to keep up with his failures out of my own amusement over said failures, but he's barely a blip on my radar.
B) When you reach a point in life where you think armies of douchebags spent all their days stalking, mocking and insulting you, it might be a good point to start asking yourself "Why? Why do so many people spend so much time being mean to me?" and the moment you stop thinking "They musta randomly chosen me! POOR ME!" you might actually start to improve in some way at some point.

Not to mention that art criticism in and of itself is a worthwhile pastime, and even if it takes me an hour to deconstruct Dobby's bad art, it is time well spent. It's an intellectual pursuit that engages the brain and flexes mental muscles. Don't want people talking about how terrible your art is? Apply yourself and make better art.
