For what it's worth, I think it looks awesome. Maybe a few less tattoos, but I think it is cool.

Also, Dobson, that's the Suicide Squad Joker, not the Batman v. Superman one.

I'm hoping that this Joker will be like the Heath Ledger Joker; it looks weird and people don't really like it at first, but then they warm up to it because the movie is fucking good. Fingers crossed.

... Dig the Home Alone pose, though, God, Dobby, there's so many jokes you could make and you make a fucking non-joke.

To be fair to Dobson, I would be pretty hesitant to add people who burned me in high school on Facebook or whatever, but then again I also wouldn't write up a giant spiel on how they SHATTERED MY HEART LEVEL.

I want to see Dobby's original drawing of the Joker. No copying previous comic, television or movie designs, it has to be an original work that pays homage to the character while being distinct.

It would fail this challenge at some point and then he'll sob at the one or two direct critiques he gets from people he hasn't blocked yet because dude does not bother to draw as well as he can actually draw.

I'm not sure why Dobby latches on to the things he does. It's just bizarre because he really has this sense of self importance that is entirely undeserved and then criticizes other works without even seeing the finished product. Which would be fine, but the great artist Dobby freaks out of you so much as question his technique (or lack thereof).

You know how the Oatmeal Guy's whole modus operandi is to find something that the internet is collectively sperging about (bacon, sriracha sauce, Mac products, Tesla) and then make some crappy cartoons that repackage the established consensus in a way that flatters people who agree with it? Dobby is trying to do that, but he lacks Oatmeal guy's ability to spot where the internet zeitgeist is heading, so he ends up flailing around wildly.

One of my tutors has a similar look; glasses, that sorta baldish haircut, pretty hefty, even the beard is pretty similar.

Yeah, it's fun to make fun of Dobson for being fat and bald but really there are hundreds of thousands of guys who look roughly like that and most of them aren't whiny arseholes.

It could work. It's got a kind of Keith Flint meets the Riddler vibe to it.

Jared Leto is also pretty underrated and other than Requiem for a Dream, hasn't had many lead roles.

(Notable roles: getting chopped up by Patrick Bateman, having the "something beautiful" face that Tyler Durden wanted to destroy, and way back when, being Claire Danes's love interest in My So-Called Life. Most of his movie roles seem to involve him getting wrecked or mutilated in some way so the Joker is kind of in line with this.)

There's already a new movie iteration of the Joker? Man, it feels like yesterday when I saw Heath Ledger Joker.

Regardless, I look forward to what this guy brings to the table.
