I haven't been on this thread for a while and I can't believe some of the shit Dobson has done over the course of a few weeks.

I honestly don't know where to start. I notice that Dobson's Pateron increased to 97 dollars, so I guess that's good for him. Still is nothing compared to other artists and how long they had their pateron up. It also seems like he set up some goals he wants to accomplish in the near future. I don't think he will be reaching them for a long time.

All this time Dobson been on twitter posting things no one really cares about; he honestly could have been drawing during those times. I guess he doesn't really care about his art yet he calls himself an artist. Not cool at all.


And yes, the person who created Camp Wedonwancha is awesome and I'm glad her kickstarter was successful. If Dobson decided to do a kickstarter for his comics, I don't think he's going to get much.

Also, him complaining about his fans is probably the worst thing you can do as an artist. It never good to that with any profession but as an artist you need your fans. They help support you and without them you might not get far in your career. So yeah, Dobson complaining about his fans is never good.

Now I'm feeling the need to draw Dobson too! XD

Not sure what Doby is giong on about here. I have been seeing a lot of people criticizing this page for just being a lazy copy/paste job. Well that and the "he's gay" coming out of nowhere and Jean being a bitch things.

Dobby misses that the copy and paste in that scene is used to indicate the beat. Dobby does not draw 20 page comics, his comics are barely a page if that. So when he copies his characters, it is both noticeable and lazy. The fact he does it with such lazy art to begin with is just icing on the cake.

Dobby can't be bothered to draw background, to be too lazy to draw characters more than once is just the embodiment of sloth.

A "bad webcomic" thread regular had his own webcomic, "Dreaming of Utopia" (I couldn't honestly say whether I like it or not, it's a weird one about if furries were real and also fursecuted). Last Christmas he did a story that was 100% shout-outs to the bad webcomic thread, including cariacatures of bad webcomic artists. Like Dobby!

OT I know, but I have to say that what I read of Dreaming Of Utopia had an extremely interesting premise, but in the end the artist's agenda got in the way. I would have loved to have seen some actual fur sympathisers that weren't closeted or an extremist furry group that could quite literally dress up as panthers. Little things that build on the world rather than trying to portray furries as saints and those who dislike them as 1950's bullies.

I'm not quite sure, but I think he's actually lost money on his Patreon recently. I remember it used to be above $100 a while back and now it's not.

I remember that in one of the previous posts, someone pointed out a fan asking Dobson to actually pay out on his Patreon reports and Dobson essentially told him to fuck off, and following that there was $5 less on Dobson's Patreon.
