Geez, I can tell just from the sneak peaks it's going to be yet another Korrasami pic of some sort. We get it Dobson, you like this pairing. Stop trying to force that fact down our throats!

Also, what the guy said about how he feels "acting rationally is a fate worse than death", he doesn't seem to be too far off given Dobsy's attitude to everyone and all. And i wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.
 
As usual, Dobson still can't draw faces, he still shades with low opacity black, and he can't bother with a decent background. I don't get why he bothers when he doesn't try to do his best.

To be fair, this was a commission that he was paid for, not something he just drew, although he probably would have drawn it on his own anyway.
 
You know, being able to tell it was Korra (again) by an overly sheepish expression is like being able to tell someone's drawing Wario by him giving to the poor.

What's happening to Korra's teeth? Why does he draw Asami with that lip overhang? It makes her look... older, if you get what I mean. It's like Dobbles adds all these weird little extraneous lines that aren't wrinkles but grossly do the same thing, add 10 years.

Really? After repeatedly being told that no one was interested, he's still going through with it? Does he think that everyone who voted "No" on the polls were just trolls? I mean, if he wants to get this stressed over what I can only assume will end up being $12 a month, then that's his right, but it's just so pointless.

That's not the impression I got. Today was the "Korrasami Wedding Day", some social media "event" where all the shippers post their fanart of the couple getting married to tumblr simultaneously. He had a deadline to keep, but he still did it for free.

SO it's basically "doesn't even like but LESBEANS!"

And yeah, I don't get the lip thing either. Kinda reminds me of something mentioned on the Nostalgia Critic's review of Cat in the Hat and ultimately why I feel like it's harder to draw purely from a photo ref: certain details don't translate between real and drawing well. A drawn upper lip would look like a wrinkle in the Seuss animation but without it in 3d it's really, really creepy.

Generally there's probably about three situations where drawing the upper lip works:
Expression, namely if it's a lip bite or something. Or a pout (Ema Skye from the Ace Attorney series is a good example of this)
Middle aged/Old people
Trying to draw Simpsons characters in a different style (kinda like the manga-ish stuff done by SpaceCoyote such as http://spacecoyote.deviantart.com/art/Lisa-Simpson-48460205 )

I'm pretty sure Dobbers isn't going for any of those though.:P

Kinda sure he isn't either. As for the teeth on Korra, I'm kinda guilty of that too. But it tied with that expression makes it all the more sickening.

And I must say, him liking the show simply due to "OMG lesbian couple!!" is kinda shallow.
