The worst thing to me is that he still makes the bear handsomer than he is. The bear isn't fat, and the bear has a defined jaw. It's like Dobbiekins thinks his most distinctive features are dumb little glasses and heavy eyebrows, whereas his most distinctive features actually are fat, bald, and chinless.

Oh, noticed two narcissistic notes:
- He HAD to depict himself as the main character. I dare say a more modest soul might've used something like a regular waterbender's getup since fans probably aren't any less likely to know what it is, especially if there was any waterbending taking place but that requires dynamics)
- For someone who can't be arsed to draw what he's demanding patreon money for nor can he put effort into more direct paid work (see: traced Ridley) but nooo he's got all the time in the world to do new drawings of his pedobear every week or two.

But seriously I hate how he tries so much to make his fursona seem like this lovable character. It just looks too ugly and smug for anyone to like it. And the fact that it's picture is usually accompanied by an arrogant SJW style rant isn't really helping.

I'm not getting "smug", I'm getting "deranged". I suppose that's an improvement!
I didn't know that he was shading with black on low opacity, I just tried that on something I'm doing right now it it looked like shit. I'm surprised that his shading turned out even this good, but then again I'm coloring in a totally different way then he is.
Does anyone know exactly how he does his lineart? Is it all computer done or does he do something on paper first?

He could be playing gay/bi for SJW credit. Or doing a horrible attempt of provoking reaction by having naughty men pictures. It's like pissing your pants in public to shock people. In the end, you'll only be the fool for letting everyone know that you pissed your pants.

Even if he claims he does, it sure doesn't look like it. He probably just posts those "references" to show his ~*haturz*~ he uses a ref pic. Though anyone with a pair of eyes can see those references didn't do jack shit because his drawings still look horrid. Just look at his Skyrim fanart and that Samus commission.
