I think he's embarrassed because she isn't being inflated.Oh, and also

So the joke here is that Preston is awkward around naked women at his figure class? I mean there isn't even the semblance of any joke there- not even cringe humour.
Perhaps that is the tragedy of Tom Preston.
He has refined his inability to such an art, to the point where his ridiculous cutesy, smarmy and disgruntled teddy bear can only be truly horrific under his digital pen. Normal hands simply cannot create such an awful thing intentionally.
This is something in general that bother's me about Dobson's idea of "feminism". He says he's for women's rights and all that and constantly screams at people for not exceeding his absurdly high expectations, but then he turns around and has trouble portraying an actual strong, female character. This shows up too in that "female nerd get's yelled at by a male at a convention" comic he drew that someone posted some pages back. He could have totally had the woman stand up for herself, and then encouraged all girls and women to stand up for themselves and not let themselves be bullied by people for liking "guy" things. Instead she gets yelled at and Dobson bear just watches.9. Knowing that black girl is a lesbian and Alex is not makes their pose together so very uncomfortable. Like if Dobson wanted to make a statement about feminism, he could have had the boy pirate clinging to Alex's leg in fear while Alex fights off sharks or whatever. But instead it's lesbian girl and her hand is RIGHT ON ALEX'S ASS. Not to mention that instead of trying to do something heroic, Alex is waving an underwear flag of surrender.

He doesn't even save her in that strip. He just says something stupid because "Men r dumb"Well duh, she needed a brave baby blue--I MEAN white knight to save her and bed her of course!
It's what I don't get about most sjws, going on about how women are super strong and all that they really should be... while acting as if all women were weaklings that couldn't do anything for themselves. Sadly the male bear-tas aren't the only ones who act in this way.
I have a few questions and observations I have to ask/address about this comic.
This one?No, it was some chick cosplaying as a Star Trek character, and some other nerd went up to her and basically accused her of being a poser and not actually into Star Trek. Shit like that. Dobson just sits and watches with that one, and then proved the woman actually knew her Star Trek. After the con bully had left.
Reagarding that comic:![]()
If you're talking about this comic, I think the issue is more to do with Tom's reaction than the woman's. You go to a con dressed like that, you probably want to have your picture taken - with your permission. Sure, some shy guy might snap a photo from a distance, but that's bound to happen and you probably won't even know about it. There's a big difference between taking a secret photo and running back to the basement and walking right up to some cosplayer chick and snapping a shot of her ass, while loudly announcing what a fine ass it is.
At this point one of two things can happen. She tells him to fuck off and he does. She might be pissed about it, but hopefully it won't ruin the con for her. Or he doesn't fuck off and she gets security on his ass. Cons have harassment policies, as they should.
Instead, neither of these things happen and Preston commits a misdemeanor by assaulting him with a baseball bat. For all we know the dude could have been like, "Oh, I'm sorry! My girlfriend is also cosplaying that character and for a second I thought she was you." And then Preston cracks his head open.
