Not really. The only things I know of are that his mom tried getting him a gig which involved illustrating a children's book, but Dobson turned it down. There's also a comic floating out there that Dobson made where his mom calls him, offering him a job to paint a mural at a kid's school or something similar. I'll post the image of the comic once I find it.

A friend of mine who's pretty much done nothing but digital and coptic markers actually got a mural contract this summer. She just did the whole thing in digital, then set up a projector and started painting. It turned out really well.

I never understood why he refused to do the mural aside from "WAAAAAH PAINTING"
