It kinda bugs me he has someone refer to him as kid. I think they'd be more likely to call him Pops or something,No, this is.

Looking at that picture, I'd go with Fatty Kruger.Of all the things to call him. They just jump out at you. Lardass. Tubby. Fatso. Blueballs. Grampa.
That picture is great. The pussified, passive body language. What a bitch.
He used the human avatar for the longest time, but people constantly called him out on how it was skinny with thick hair when irl he's a balding fatty. So he's switched to the ugly bear and almost never goes back. Also I dunno if this has been discussed earlier in the thread but does he switch randomly between his human form and that goddamn blue bear frequently in his comic?

Does anyone know why he chose a blue teddy bear as his avatar in the first place? Was it a toy he had as a kid or...?He used the human avatar for the longest time, but people constantly called him out on how it was skinny with thick hair when irl he's a balding fatty. He drew himself skinny and with hair a lot, and people kept asking why he was doing so.Does anyone know why he chose a blue teddy bear as his avatar in the first place? Was it a toy he had as a kid or...?
Dobby dijo:I get this one a lot. And I do mean A LOT. I've never believed that my cartoon representation of me was an accurate depiction of the real me, but when I first started SYAC far too many people couldn't separate the two.
As such, over the year doing this comic I've tried to distance my cartoon self from my real self, and making him more "iconic" by adding hair is just one of those subtle changes.
Dobby dijo:Despite the fact the main character isn’t really me, people seem to really want him to be drawn how I look in real life. Therefor the character will henceforth be drawn as a Care Bear for all future strips.
Eventually he got so pissed off by the question, he just randomly switched to a short blue bear just to spite everyone.
And then people started to bitch about the bear. Honestly, I'm surprised he didn't change it again to something even more stupid. He drew himself skinny and with hair a lot, and people kept asking why he was doing so.

......because be sociable at a social event is just too much to ask for?

But that would require creativity and not ripping something off.He could change it back to himself.
But that'd mean he'd be ripping off himself. He could change it back to himself.
Though frankly, I think that'd be an improvement over the Care Bear.
