Dunno about you guys, but Dobby's running out of steam, lately
I agree. Perhaps that is a sign that he gets a better person, perhaps not. I noticed that I pretty much repeat myself with every post, saying that Dobson is creatively bankrupt. I guess that we all are down to nitpicking his doodles, at least with inktober he is showing some form of persistence.

After a decade of getting trolled, his retreat into a hugbox seems to finally bear fruit (pun intended). He's still chimping out from time to time, but since it's on Twitter, it's either just a very short, jumbled mess of a rant spread across half a dozen tweets or it's just a very stupid comment.
I doubt he's really dried up as a source of amusement, it's just a low tide at the moment.

Sailor Moon triggered his PTSD I guess.

Also, that second tweet, what the shit?
"Mature" *yawn*
Lol yeah, Andrew "hit another man with a chair for giving spoilers to a children's book" Dobson is the paragon of maturity.

Just to make sure I looked for the scene to see exactly what was so "terrifying and heartbreaking" about it:

...

Yeah, if that is what for him qualifies as "terrifying and hearbreaking" by that same measure every time Wile. E Coyote plummeted to the bottom of a cliff in a Road Runner cartoon it was "horrifying and heartbreaking".

God lord man, and he calls himself "mature"

Dobson, you're a manchild and becoming more childish. Stop deluding yourself.

I didn't know he even liked Sailor Moon, given the main character was in his "anime vs west" picture.
Two of the main characters in Sailor Moon are lesbians. Is it really so shocking to believe he liked it?

I think it is terrifying and heartbreaking because Dobson has an unnatural obsession with an antagonist in a Japanese cartoon show made for little girls, i.e. she is his 'waifu.'

If you don't want people to die, watch comedy shows, or baby stuff like Caillou or Dora. Watching a (children's) drama where teenagers with superpowers fight against evil? Yeah, sometimes evil people kill and get killed.

This guy thinks that Spongebob Squarepants is a more "mature" form of entertainment than lets say Roots. This is a man who thinks MLP-FiM must be mature, because he does not see any other reason for people over the age of 10 to watch it, ignoring that (autism aside) the more likely reason is that some think the cartoonish humor and cute characters are worth watching it once in a while. Are you really that surprised that he looks at that scene and acts like one of these manchildren who write on tvtropes how they cried over the fact that Strawberry Shortcake did not have a good birthday in one episode?

And just to get a few dumb/off-topic ratings extra, he thinks that is the most scariest way how some villain died in Sailor Moon? My sister forced me to watch this show as a kid a lot and we grew up in France, where this show was actually shown in an uncensored manner (so unlike the average American, they did not beat around the bush that two characters are lesbians.). And I can remember quite well that one minion got disposed the following way: Being eaten alive by nanites. Granted, it was not as if the show would showcase how the girl was eaten up/out from the insides by microscopic little robots by letting us see her flesh being devoured until the skeleton remained. But I consider that idea to sound scarier than someone (literally) pulling the plug.

Last but not least, he does not like it when villains are killed off? I am admitedly a fan of villains being redeemed over killed (as long as they did not do something that really crosses any moral line) but coming from the guy who has no problem killing off NPCs in a Skyrim game for making stupid innuendos by going Spanish Inquisition on them AND admited that he had power fantasies of killing all his fellow classmates at school, I say fuck you. Especially towards the fact he thinks he has matured enough to the point that he does not want to see characters die. As smeone mentioned, character death can not just be an excuse to get rid of someone, it can be used for good drama. And sometimes there are just characters who need to die, because they are too much of a monster to remain alive. Not that Dobson would know anything about it, cause this guy has less actual villains to offer in his work than fucks Brianna Wu gives about him.

Just look at his comics. Not one single consistently, cunning or funny villain. Only unintentional villainous heroes at best.

If you don't want people to die, watch comedy shows, or baby stuff like Caillou or Dora. Watching a (children's) drama where teenagers with superpowers fight against evil? Yeah, sometimes evil people kill and get killed.

And sometimes good people to. Heck, the entire cast of Sailor Moon died at the end of season 1 and at the last season. At least seeing how he does not like to watch animated characters die, I can now understand why he hates NGE.
... God, I so want to force Dobson now to watch Berserk while he is stuck in a chair Ludovico Style. Can you imagine his overall reaction at the Eclipse Event?

Well, that sure was... uh... something, I guess.

If anything that's hilarious. How long were the Sailor Girls impotently fighting that villain, at least half a season? And in the final showdown, as everyone squares off against her, in this tense moment, what is her undoing? Literally someone "pulling the plug".

But what do I know, it managed to freak out a grown up man that used to draw underage girls being inflated to the point where they explode. :heart-empty:

Holy shit. This.

Anyone noticed his lining for the Sonic art makes Sonic look a bit wrinkled around the eyes?

It's because he tried to draw the DIC version and messed up:

I think not even half a season. If I remember correctly that girl was part of a group of around 5 or six top evil henchmen for some season big bad. So if anything, 5-7 episodes at best and then she died?

BTW, if someone does the Ludovico with him, make sure he watches the Berserk animated movies that came out a couple of years ago. They even include the miscarriage of Gut's and Cesca's kid.
