iirc, his Thanksgiving icon is the St. Patrick's Day icon with different colors. I'm going to bet he leaves it as that until at least March, and then the cycle will begin anew.

Cause dobbie is mommys special little artist and has been encouraged to embrace his fail from an early age.
His parents just keep bailing him out and paying him to chase the dream.
Even if they didnt its not like hes spending money socialising or spending an time outside his house. Not having friends or a partner is also a great way to save money.

Plus, I don't' think it costs all that much to have an online presence these days, it's pretty easy and cheap to get hosting space somewhere, and social media isn't THAT expensive.
If there was a beachfront house and a BMW he was constantly mentioning, then I'd wonder where the money was coming from, but there's nothing he's done lately that you couldn't do on a McJob and low overhead and bumming from friends.

He claims to make money from commissions but wont give out details but based on his work rate i doubt hes getting many done.
And i presume Brent Black was paying him for his work.
Dobbie admits to dumpster diving for furniture and tech so hes got that going for him.

I'm inclined to say that he doesn't really know about us. Maybe just about our existence, but I don't think he would be willing to stop playing Mario Maker long enough to actually read the thread.
