Well, let's just say, Dobbers almost managed to escalate my opinion of him from "I hope he gets socked in the jaw" to "I hope he eats the flat end of a sledgehammer".
Everything, absolutely EVERYTHING Dobs points out here is stuff that he himself sucks at. Not only "is a bit bad at drawing it" but really genuinely sucks insanely at.
He can't draw an interesting, non-stiff pose to save his life. He can't draw hands, his lightsources are NEVER clear, he's always off-model, he always adds useless lines to everything, he can't convey motion, action or emotion.
Even the fact he calls out Miller is hypocritical as fuck, coming from a person that refuses to aknowledge criticism from people who aren't "professionals".

Miller is a legend, Dobs is a nobody. Still he thinks he's in a position to bitch and moan about this (admittedly shoddy) cover art.

He's trying to shut up lesser artists by saying he's not going to aknowledge their criticism, since clearly, you have to be a 5-star chef to criticise McDonalds while also trying to shut up more accomplished artists, by calling them meany meanheads for giving him the prickly wicklies.

I guess he's trying to "level the field" by trying to drag down titans. "See, Miller sucks at drawing hands, too! That means there's not that big a difference skill-wise between me and Miller! I'm not a failure, as everyone says! See? When I highlight all the fuck-ups, my own fuck-ups don't look so bad in comparison!"

I was going to say something nice for once about Dobson's art (that bird sketch looked like some effort was put into it) and then he does something stupid (like that comic) like the dipshit he is. SIGH. Yes, the art isn't perfect, but the thing is, this guy has a lot of work under his belt to prove that he isn't just a crappy artist, while Dobson has like, what, a comic he doesn't care about, lesbian fetish, and other forgettable comics filled with smug. Also, he should just forget drawing normal humans and stick with drawings animals. After all, it seems he has no problem drawing his detestable blue bear persona.

Someone should just link that comic to as many people as possible who are Miller haters and then also a pic of the guy recently. Cause you know, it is so much fun making jokes about cancer patients.
 
There's also his recent fan art, like Gizmo Duck that have a different number of fingers on each hand.

You're allowed use color for Inktober, apparently he can't color without fill bucket. When diversity in cartoons takes effort, eh, forget about it.

RE:picking something for the concrit comic, most of those are good choices you'd get a lot of material from... but some are kind of oldish. Well not OLD old but enough for Dobson to brush it off as "hah they're using ancient art to troll me I've improved since then" so perhaps something more recent might work better?

Also on that bird pic, I'm pretty sure the leg is misplaced. The bird itself looks like a side view but one leg starts way ahead of the other.

Edit: I've seen plenty of Inktober drawings with color. Just not his. He literally can't emulate the fill bucket with real drawing implements.
