God, Cuntlynn is showing her stunning lack of basic empathy here. Mental illness isn't like a physical wasting disease. It's directly affected by your enviroment, your support system, the stressors in your life, etc. Yes, Bipolar disorder is progressive, but that's based on how many mood swings you have. If you're in an enviroment with good support and few to none triggers, you won't worsen to the state that a bipolar person in constant stress with constant mood swings will be in.

But Becky won't know any of that, yet even a potato knows that mental illness is affected by those around you. When Amber says stuff like this, I don't have a single doubt that Becky is internalizing it as she's failing the suicidal girl she wanted to save and that she's only made Amber miserable. When someone close to them struggles with mental disorders, people tend to blame themselves. That's just human.

Even with her petty excuse, this is so cruel to Becky.

Oh, wow...That is a very interesting idea... if only because Amber knows about Becky’s emotional hang-ups with guilt, shame, and the sudden passing of loved ones. Every time she mentions hating Kentucky, how she isn’t as happy as she was in Virginia, and how her mental health has declined since she got there, it would make Becky feel like she isn’t doing enough to “save” Amber. And Becky’s already emotionally liable as fuck with the meds she’s on. No wonder she had to up her depression med dose. Gaaaawd that’s dark.

Imagine having an entire relationship based around making sure your SO doesn’t kill themselves, but meanwhile your SO is actively engaging in things that are killing them. I'll have to find the video for the exact wording but Thumby sent it after Al's "smash or pass" vid. The Thumb said how gorgeous Al was and she'd smash Al and other creepy, gross stuff but nothing about being worried about her at all.
