I think she does. There was a random shot in one of her vlogs not too long ago that showed shampoo and conditioner at the bathroom sink. She needs to just cut that shit off. It'd be a hell of a lot easier for her and it wouldn't look like a greasy fucking mop of mess.

Wrong. In super old videos from the Krystle era, Amber showed all the food in the house, and there was all the junk food that she liked, it was just Weight Watcher branded junk food. The only difference between then and now is the quantity of food she is eating, there has been no change in the quality of it or how much access she has to food.

Also she and Krystle were going to the gym almost everyday.

Yes, we know that because she was living with Krystle and she was forced to do housework and didn't have access to inhuman amounts of food. Krystle's parents prepared most of their meals. They'd eat out occasionally during that time, but it was mostly controlled. Now, she had started gaining it back when she started her channel, though because I guess she got a bit more comfortable and they were given a pretty generous allowance or stipend or whatever with no bills to pay. It's all been downhill from there.

ETA: @Aldora is correct, though. She still had a junk food addiction, but Krystle's parents didn't allow her to eat enough at one sitting to feed a small island nation. That's why she'll insist that she can eat white rice and other carby things and lose weight because she lost the mystical 89 elbees doing that. The only difference is portion control.

There is also the fact that Amber is a secret eater and has been since high school, when she was getting lunch money from her foster parents and getting a free school meal from the state, and I believe this continued when she was with Krystle because even though she was eating and exercising the same as Krystle, Amber never lost as much weight at Krystle. Amber said this was because Krystle's metabolism is "faster" but the real reason is that Amber has been lying and eating more than she will admit since Day 1.
 
We have reached the stage of the cycle where she asks her viewers for video ideas, shits all over 99% of the requests, promises she'll do the 1% she likes, and then delivers exactly 0%!

Wait, how do we know that she lost the weight while she was with Krystle? We know that she lost the 89lbs before she started her youtube channel. We know she said that she started to pack the pounds back on in her first video, and that's why she wanted to document it to hold herself accountable.

I also thought that she lost it with Krystle, but then it doesn't make sense considering what you have all brought up: the allowance, Krystle's parents driving her everywhere, the snack hoard, and reading up on the wordpress post that @formerfatcow shared (written during the Destiny era):

It seems like Krystle's parents were doubtful that Amber would succeed. I'm starting to wonder if she actually lost the weight with Kasey instead, or during that transitional period between girlfriends. It'd make more sense with the lifestyle Amber had with Kasey (catching the bus, going to a laundromat, being financially strained, etc). I know there's that one before and after photo but it just doesn't add up in my brain anymore.

Her time with Krystle was the only time she was actively consistent with her dieting and working out, it was all downhill once she was with Kasey.

To be honest I am not sure I believe Amber when she say's that she lost 89lbs, just as I don't believe that Krystle's parents were giving Amber $1000 a month.

Amber lies, and she lies a lot, even when she doesn't need to.
 
Eh, I believe she did. Not in the sense of her having the capability of maintaining any sort of will-power, but moreso as a testament of how fucking easy it is to lose weight when you eat less, move more, and already weigh 400+lbs (I think she weighed ~425 before the infamous drop?).

With Kasey, she was forced to go to school or else be kicked out. No one could drive her to campus, so she had to catch a bus. Going from classroom to classroom required more energy. The apartment was tiny, she loathed Kasey's mom, so I doubt she would have willingly stayed there while the mom was home. Amber was almost always never alone or in control of finances. Kasey's mom definitely wouldn't give Amber "her own section of the fridge" like Krystle's parents did or allowance money to fill her cupboards with snacks. She probably wasn't given enough money to eat as much as she would need to maintain that gargantuan frame....With Krystle, Amber went to the gym a handful of times, she inhaled chocolates, spent allowance money on food...Idk. When Amber actively tries to lose weight, she always fails. When she's forced to think about anything that's not food related and has all other means of control taken from her like a child, she somewhat succeeds.
