To me it makes perfect sense. Obviously she's not concerned about how they'd make her look appearance-wise, what worries her is how easy it would be for Dr. Phil to keep her accountable and present her with all the lies she's ever told without her being able to backtrack and keep spinning a different narrative every time he questions her. She can't handle any kind of confrontation, all she can do is one-sidedly spout sassy responses on various social media platforms. Her facade would crumble in an instant and she knows it. She's not psychotic, she knows she's been lying for 5+ years. She's fully aware of her limitations and she knows she wouldn't stand a chance if someone were to confront her with the truth, and the whole truth at that.
