Would have been a damn nightmare finding a vein on her.
Guarantee that bruise is from someone having to dig around a bit with the needle to find a vein, they likely missed a few times and had to poke around a bit. Hopefully they had a vein finder, that shit hurts.
I’m sort of new to ALR but is there a reason she seems to have an irrational fear/dislike of doctors and hospitals? She has a bladder infection but she’s acting like she had a harrowing life experience. Shes mortified that she had to pee in a cup and the way she tells the story, the hospital was practically torturing her.
Never mind the fact that a GP could have given her the same diagnosis with a piss test and a damn dipstick.
Why is she going to the ER for a sore bladder anyways? Is it common in the US to bypass the GP for things like this?
Why would she hold her piss in all the time anyway? What else does she have to do in her life besides sit on pillow mountain, eat, shit and piss? Sheer laziness. Though she also could have contracted it because she isn’t wiping properly or enough...

It’s a bladder infection. It’s not going to kill her between midnight and 9am.
And if the infection is a bad as she lets on, it would have been sore for days, possibly weeks leading up to this. But she leaves it until midnight when the pain probably got so bad she thought she had finally eaten herself to death.

Don't worry. She doesn't actually have an irrational fear of doctors. She's afraid of being told she's fucking fat and dying. That's a totally rational fear, since any medical professional with two eyes and half a brain would be tempted to put it in those very terms.
She's just a drama queen, She's too dainty and delicate and cute to be poked with needuls!
Because getting up from the bed, walking allllll the way to the toilet, sitting down, wiping, and hoisting herself back up might as well be one of those extreme marathons people do. She can barely catch her breath while she's sitting still.
AL struggling with basic hygiene? Shocked, I tell you. I am shocked.

The answer to why she does damn near anything is this, very simply: she's dumb. Not just ignorant, but actually very stupid and getting worse as the fat chokes her empty brain.

Why no GP? Her GP would strongly urge her, and perhaps even insist that Amber have a well-woman exam (read: get in the stirrups, fatty) and haveher dainty hole swabbed before prescribing medicine just to be completely sure her symptoms weren't caused by an STD. For all we know she did call her singing doctor, and was told to schedule a well woman exam or go to the ER. Also. the ER in bumfuck Kentucky is probably used to people abusing their services and treating them like a free clinic, unfortunately.
As for finding a vein on fatties, drawing from the hand is often easier. But what also makes it difficult is people who don't intake enough fluids. That makes it harder to find a vein and harder to get a good draw once you've got the vein. So the combination of deathfat + doesn't drink enough would probably be a pain.

Yup. I think that's her hustle. From what I understand, at many ERs you walk out with the promise that you will pay your (forthcoming) hospital bill in a timely fashion. So I'm sure that explains AL's m.o. she thinks she can get essentially "free" services if she never intends to pay those bills.

If she went to a regular doctor, she'd have to sit in the waiting room (there's probably no chairs large enough for someone her size) and people would likely stare at her while waiting there. Then there's that issue of all those winding hallways to walk down at a regular clinic, (she complained last doctor visit there was way too much walking). The ER has less steps to take from the entrance to an actual room or they can just wheel her into a room on a gurney.

I agree with the gyno talk but just to be clear, a GP or NP can do the well woman exam. The singing doctor could've done it herself, Amberlynn wouldn't necessarily have been referred to a SCARY GYNO OFFICE. I think she's just scared for her grotesque body and lack of hygeine to be so exposed, and she also didn't want pay.
I need to go make another post in the triggered thread because it pisses me off that someone who makes so much money is not only wasting the time and resources of a hospital when she has a damn GP, but can also easily afford to be treated in the appropriate setting and pay for the procedures.
