Exactly right. I think this is where here “binge eating disorder” comes in. She wants to believe if she weren’t afflicted with this mental disorder, she would be skinny and none of it would be her fault because she has this disorder secondary to her childhood trauma.

She will never accept the truth that she generally just overindulges constantly, or that tons of people who would qualify as having BED are a normal weight or overweight without being obese. It’s another interesting observation in the list of never ending observations regarding how she would literally rather die than take responsibility for anything.
