Sorry I just got to throw this in there, where are they living right now? People keep saying they wouldn't fire destiny for amberlynn's shit, which isn't really true. I think most states are "at will" which means they can fire you for pretty much anything. I can totally see a company who has a government contract fire the s.o of a former employee who was fired and is talking trash on social media, especially in a small town.
If Destiny worked for the government, there would be zero chance she would be fired for something like this, right to work state or no. The government has different standards and its incredibly hard to fire somebody. That's why gov't jobs are desirable jobs-once you get one, you pretty much have it as long as you want it. You can not show up, watch movies all day, show up drunk, and it can take years to get the documentation needed to get rid of somebody. (Sadly, I know this personally)
That said, Destiny doesn't work for the government. However, places that have government contracts have higher standards than most employers. To win a government contract, you typically have to meet criteria about percentage of female/minority employees and follow government rules about Human Resources, among many other things. They are less likely to fire somebody, especially a gay woman.
Finally, we have to remember Destiny hasn't done anything. She might be a great, dedicated employee for all we know. Few employers fire people for something their spouse or girlfriend did on her own time. Freedom of speech and all that. (If Destiny herself was badmouthing them, it could be different). If she is a decent employee, and they have nothing documented to say she isn't, they aren't going to risk a discrimination lawsuit.
If this was a tiny company in BFE Kentucky with 25 employees whose reputation was on the line, maybe it'd be different. But this is a company with 18,000 employees, they can absorb a negative comment by a mostly unknown youtuber. They live in a small town but it's a huge, nationwide company.
I could be wrong, but I at least, really would be surprised if there was any blowback on Destiny. Unless she's a really shitty employee too, of course. My impression though, is she goes to work and does her job. In that case, her coworkers may dislike her or take sides but her bosses probably don't care.
