Using fancy words doesn’t make you a good writer.

You actively exclude people who want to read it, but most people don’t understand it.

A good writer knows how to describe stuff.
Easily. Understandable. Words.

But one DOES sound like a pretentious prick, that’s for sure!

Using fancy words doesn't make somebody a good writer. I didn't say that and I don't believe it.

But one definite barrier to good writing is not being able to keep track of your own thoughts and making claims that contradict an earlier part of your sentence. I find that a barrier to comprehension.

I've always found the Britishism of using 'one' instead of 'you' makes one sound like a pretentious prick, but I usually don't tell people off when they do it.

From today's video... MUKBANG WEIGH IN-VLOGMAS DAY 7.
At around 2:18 she wonders if people are "impreciating" the effort she is putting into vlogmas.

From today's "Dominos Mukbang":

Apparently Canadians have superpowers, because they can drive in "50 feet's of snow" y'all!

And an honorable mention goes to Dominos, who came "in tack," powering through the snowstorm to deliver salad to the poor unfortunate salad-less souls in Kentucky.

From “OUR FIRST TIME MEETING & DATE” from Vlogmas 2017

“We made a joke about me making a YouTube video dancing to like salsa music, naked, pouring salsa on my body”

The conversation starter Al used to break the ice at the Mexican restaurant where Becky and Al first saw each other in person.
