It really sucks for people outside of the US and the UK. Even Australians are complaining and I never really thought about how cucked their own book distribution was, so even a sizable chunk of Anglo countries are affected by it. Seems like Blackwells is the new alternative, though I haven't had the chance to try it out yet. Prices seem cheaper for quite a few things as well and it seems like they're in the process of adding new countries to their shipping list.
 
A shame, I used to order from them, though last year I switched to ordering from Amazon when they shipped my multiple books to multiple stations across the city and I'd rather pay extra than taking time off work because one place is only open 4 hours a day.
 
Amusingly I first heard about them because of the shutdown; but they were the best place to grab some UK copies of certain works so my first order is during the shutdown period. Ah well.
