I guess a large enough group with such a vague mission statement about something something SJWs in muh fandom is bound to attract people who just assume the best intentions, not realizing it for the cesspit it is.

I just don't understand how you can find a group with people like Foxler and Len at the helm and think "yes, this seems like the type of group I would like to be a part of."

I feel like even most disgusting leader can form a decently sized group if they're hands off enough about it. At very least you'll get bunches of misfits siding with you. You can see the things start collapsing further every time some inner clique drama happens and the de facto leader starts strongarming to put things in place.
