If I understand it correctly NovelAI takes a lot of its dataset from Danbooru which is a lot of anime stuff, so it's heavily biased in that direction. If you want something more realistic you want a model like the standard Stable Diffusion, which is more distributed in bias and produces photorealistic-esque images more often.

Apparently the Stable Diffusion AI has associated a lot of naughty shit with
waifu, as when I give it a very short prompt of just (((Jewish))) waifu I get this:

in the negative prompts field, put nsfw and erotic in there and it should make it at least slightly safe for work

the top right of the last 4 is the best of the bunch, so if you do feel like creating more, that would be the one to do. I think slightly-realistic-pencil-art style is a good theme.
