Having two good well adjusted parents is the best thing for a kid but yeah any father alone isn't going to magically fix things; only a good father will. Which isn't even a ridiculously high bar, just care about your kids and set a good example. Having a father around who beats his wife and kids within an inch of their life, neglects his family while leeching off the mother's welfare, and acting like a chimp himself is going to be actively worse for the kids' development than not having one at all because he presents an actively bad role model.

Sometimes a very good parent can overcompensate for a bad one, but it's hit or miss even if you're not a nigger. It takes active effort from the child once they reach a certain age to emulate the good parent over the bad one, but that takes the IQ to have actual self awareness. And 99% of the time with ghetto families the mom isn't any better of an example than the dad. I'm sure genetics also play a part, it's a self fulfilling prophecy where the kind of man who just wants to stick his dick in 10 different baby mama's without caring about the consequences combined with the kind of woman who takes dicks from 10 different baby daddies and can't even figure out how to take a plan B is probably not going to pass on high IQ or good temperment anyway.
