can't imagine how they put up with the smell of it, though frankly, the rest of their bodies usually smell kind of gross too. It's like a musty sort of smell, sometimes layered with extremely powerful and cheap fragrances to cover it up.

I usually get really autistic about personal hygiene so I can actually chip in on this. Despite the american silverback variety usually being a subsect where you find the most amount of hygiene olympics, they still somehow manage to smell in that exact offputting musky way. Exfoliating, urea creams, washcloths, net sponges, dry brushing, double cleaning, scented soap-downs after antibacterial bar washes, body oils, dusting powders, all of it is SOMEHOW completely useless because their body smell is somehow that prevailing and infinite. I genuinely do not understand if its some sort of genetic disparity that makes their body chemistry just like that or if its a curse from god. No matter how well they wash and no matter what good perfume they pick, the smell is always, always there. I feel bad for black girls who try to be cute or who take strict care of themselves because the smell is seriously just always there no matter what.

I think it’s because a lot of them are obese, and have that sour smell to them when they sweat. As for the thin ones though, it’s because they over use those hygiene products. Her testimony did not change ever. It was remarkably consistent for 50 years. Check my posts a few pages back on this.

Edit: Here's an alleged "contradiction" of hers:

Retired FBI agent Dale Killinger, who investigated the murder in 2004-2005 for the FBI, says Donham’s statements in her memoir contradict what she told him during an interview. In a phone interview Saturday, Killinger said that Donham told him Emmett said nothing when Bryant brought the teen to her.

“She said Emmett didn’t say anything,” Killinger recalls of his interview with Donham. “She did say, in 2005, something to the effect of, ‘I couldn’t have identified him,’ so as far as I know she’s never said that she did state that the boy was Emmett Till,” Killinger said.

The contradiction is that she never mentioned prior that Emmett self-identified after she said it wasn't him, though it's not a contradiction, just a detail she might not have mentioned prior. She also never said Till literally said nothing at all prior per the agent's memory of the interview 17 years prior:

Killinger, the interviewing agent, says she told him Emmett "didn't say anything" and that the men brought Till to her but she "couldn't have identified him."

That could easily be him relaying she said Emmett "didn't say anything until the very end" and CNN would cut it. Regardless, it just corroborates her story for a second or third time, that she didn't ID Till, even though she knew it was him.

Oh, and here's the FBI interview where she apparently didn't indicate Till self-identified:

According to a redacted FBI transcription of the interview, Bryant Donham told an FBI investigator:

“[REDACTED] advised that she was at home in Money, Mississippi with [REDACTED] when sometime during the night Roy Bryant, J.W. Milam and Kimbrell appeared at the home/store with Emmett Till. ‘…I think they probably asked me who, if [REDACTED] I believe. Because I really think no matter [REDACTED]. I thought [REDACTED].’… I think he (Roy Bryant) told me he was going to take him back.’”

Retired FBI agent Dale Killinger recalled this 2005 interview with Bryant Donham when reached by CNN. He confirmed to CNN this redacted testimony in the FBI report was from Bryant Donham.

Killinger says Bryant Donham told him she remembered “that they had brought him (Till) in to her.”

Oh, damn, what a very clean record of what was said. If everything is redacted, you can just claim she said nothing! I swear, every damn article from garbage rags like CNN is just some retard black lying about everything. I can't believe I was trusted these sources.

In late September 1955, less than one month after Emmett was killed, Bryant Donham testified under oath during an evidentiary hearing in Bryant’s trial. According to the trial transcript, Bryant Donham testified that she never saw Emmett again after August 24, when he whistled at her at the couple’s store:

Q: When you got your pistol, Mrs. Bryant, where was this boy then? Or, I should say, where was this man?

A: When I turned around, he was getting in a car down the road.

Q: Did you rush back in the store then?

A: Yes.

Q: Had you ever seen that man before?

A: No.

Q: Have you ever seen him since?

A: No.

This isn't a lie or a contradiction, either. She's answering that she hadn't seen him at the store or around town before or after, not that she didn't see him when Roy brought him to her. The 1955 source backs her up that she claimed Till was the wrong boy. The only change is the introduction of her claiming Till said something to indicate he was the right one, but we haven't credibly established she never mentioned it prior.

She included a detail in 2008 that she might not have volunteered in that redacted 2005 interview. But we don't know because it's redacted. And it doesn't even change anything. That's it. Calling that a pattern of damning contradictions that points to her culpability is just standard anti-Whitism. It's dressed up as a reversal or mark against her credibility instead of focusing on the fact that every action of hers shows her trying to save him.


I hate everything, but the blood libel on white folks while our country is ceded by nons is driving me nuts.
