I never understood why my father loved this movie so much. Adolph Hitler was more fond of the jews than my father. He watched every WW2/Hitler documentary/movie speech so many times I used to give him shit about it. (Catching Dad once again watching Triumph of the Will I would ask) "Do they have a good enough team to make it the playoffs this year?"

Then it evaporates. Everything is replaced by a new bubble, filled with an entirely new generation of youngsters struggling with a different batch of arbitrary nonsense. So the old cling to shattered fragments of the past.
