A Movie About Black Power Kiwis Will (Might) Enjoy

A movie about blacks that you all will actually (possibly) like is Robert Downey Sr's 1969 chaotic comedy Putney Swope.

Father to the Robert Downey you've all actually heard about made underground films in the 60s, and this film shows what happens as a radical black man, the token black man on the board of an advertising film, is elected chairman of the board by a fluke ("we all voted for him because we thought no one else would vote for him"). Downey has always claimed that actor Arnold Johnson, who played the titular character in this his first film role, was hopeless at remembering lines, so Downey himself (not black) dubbed all of the black man's lines using a gravelly voice. Also features a pot-smoking midget in the role of US President, and a jive-talking comical black Muslim complete with nomadic headdress who prays in fake Arabic ("walalila-mixed-mediaaaaa"), and a Chinese business exec who refers to himself as a "happy Chink" when a deal goes well.
