Funny how the commonly accepted etymology for “jazz” means energetic and lively.
Even their own history ー once it's become an embarrassment, anyway ー is made subject to their coping, seething, and crude revisionism.

This reminds me of their claims asserting that the word "ebonics" had been coined as a white term of contempt for their BIXNOODery, while its creator was a black professor.

No black guy is gonna refer to that ugly-ass patois as "African-American Vernacular English". Ain't nobody got time to say all dat sheeit.

I am a regular to this thread, but this 2 + 2 = ? is not clicking for me.

What do you think happened?

On one hand, we have an obvious hoodrat, while on the other, a white woman charged with murder, so I cannot decide which of my prejudices to go with here.

I asked myself to see two identical murders, one black, one white, just to see how the prosecution would respond from there.

That said, from what I can see, they both look like lower dregs to society so I have no sympathy for either of them.
