I couldn't find the original thread about the warning sticky and it's locked so I figured I'd posted it here.
So pretty much no one here respects Phil's pronouns and that is 100% the right decision. However, the warning sticky is meant to actually be a helpful post for people in the trans community who might consider taking Phil in or otherwise aiding him, right? I'm concerned that the liberal use of "he" might turn off some of those people. Just look about it from someone else's perspective. Phil is claiming KF is full of transmisogynists trying to gaslight him. Say you're sympathetic to him for whatever reason and you come here only to see that what he's saying is at least partially true and everyone misgenders him seemingly just to be assholes. I'm worried some people might just close the thread and ignore it at that point.
So far, there seems to be a decent record of some people in the trans community somewhat accepting Kiwi Farms, so maybe I'm over thinking it. But I wanted to bring it up anyway. In the most recent post, @bearycool even went so far to say "he/she/it," which, while funny, is maybe not so good for a serious warning post.

I figured changing he to she would be a little much for this forum, but at the very least, I think avoiding too many "Phil, as a male" type phrases would be good, if that makes sense. Or maybe "they" instead of he or she? It depends how other people feel about this suggestion I guess. At the very least, I think trying to avoid calling him a male/man as much as possible would work. A lot of gendered words can be swapped out to ADF without sounding too awkward.

I don't think it's necessary to bring up his pronouns at all because in no way shape or form does he even do the bare minimum required for anyone to care. Even his old friends have started calling him "they" out of lack of conviction. It seems like undue validation to even bother.

If people invite ADF into their home because we called it a "he", then fuck them, they deserve ADF in their home.

Well, arguably, this just isn't the site to have legitimate public service announcements. The point of the site isn't to benefit the public, after all.

But if you bother doing it at all, it should be tailored to the intended audience, which is the sort of person likely to take in this freak. As Skarlett showed, this isn't necessarily bad people, and practically nobody actually deserves the Phil potato.

That kind of person is likely to be influenced by the language used.

Of course, they're also likely not to take anything from this site seriously.

@AnOminous that's pretty much my thinking, if it's not done right why do it at all? The sticky isn't exactly necessary. There's more than enough information about Phil on here and elsewhere.
