It really shows how much of a crutch first Mark and then Scott were for his reaction content. Adam's edited reviews were generally quite funny and it's obviously where his strength lies, but with him and this random bearded non-entity it's just watching two passive-aggressive dudes make occasionally sarcastic remarks for over an hour. There's nothing to it, it's so limp and lifeless. Watching the TGWTG movies without their commentary would probably be an improvement.

Incredibly embarrassing thing to say for someone who purports themselves to be an expert in the craft, since even your average Joe knows about the silent film era's sole use of the visual medium to tell stories. They would literally transition to a black screen with text on it to convey dialogue. I'm not at all a film buff and am well aware of this. How does he not know this?

It's crazy how one person can make an earnest criticism about something but there's always some turbo autist fan that will immediately lash out in anger at them implying any sort of imperfection with the creator they like so much. Eating noises are fucking disgusting and should be edited out, especially when there's a massive amount of them for no reason.
Scoot was the only reason to even engage with Adums side content man. He was genuinely funny as fuck and with his passing, Adum should just scuttle his other shit because it's not worth watching anymore.
Doug is unironically a better critic than Adum and is a better critic than most give him credit for. Especially when he's out of character and just himself. Doug also genuinely seems passionate about mediums like film and animation which is more than Adum has ever shown in truth.
