Abortion is pretty solid. A lot of women just aren't ready to have kids, and yeah you can abstain or take contraceptives but that doesn't always work, and I'd rather have desired and maybe planned for kids over "hurr durr I got knocked up guess I have to have this kid". Before people say adoption, I'd like to see the rates. How many bundles of joy are picked up by a couple and how many grow up in institutions and become potentially damaged citizens that under perform or are otherwise a drag on the rest of society, or end up homeless?

Well yeah when a girl aborts your child despite all your pleading not to and when it is entirely viable to keep the kid and you outline a whole plan to keep the kid and you promise support with her only reason really being she's too embarassed to let her family know she got knocked up you tend to take the issue personally.
