I said this upthread but something like 50% of all fertilized eggs are naturally aborted, and it's not clear why. Most of the time the women don't even notice they had one.

I just don't like the bullshit man. Nobody has a right to tell a woman what to do with her body but stop trying to wrap it up in bows. You wanna kill your kid, whatever but don't act like you didn't kill your kid. Again I'm all for it. But don't lie and don't bullshit.

An egg, nor a sperm, nor a zygote, nor a fetus is a kid. There is nothing being wrapped in bows. Being a kid implies personhood, which at the time of an abortion, is never obtained by the zygote or fetus being rejected.

Whatever they gotta tell themselves man. I could really care less. It's life fine it's not a kid yet but it's undeniably alive, a different form of life for sure but, a virus is technically alive, a plant is alive and thathe thing is alive. But like I said kill the shit out of it iduncur. No need to quibble over labels or argue semantics

More of a nietzhe man actually, inb4 someone calls me edgy. I just don't see the point in arguing what it is and what it isnt. Because at the end of the day what it is, is a woman's choice. How she wants to rationalize it or justify it, that's for her not me to say. I just want less people on the planet because what we have is not sustainable.

To be honest I had never heard of him. But I'll look into it.

Just scanning his wiki page on his thoughts not sure I would say I agree with it. He makes humans come off almost like kites caught in the wind. While I kind of agree I think we can make our will a reality as we have done time and again. We've changed the world to suit us. I dunno obviously I just scanned it so maybe I'm misinterpreting. Which I'm sure you'll point out with glee if so.

The country where i live thankfully has very strict abortion laws.
Nobody has the right to destroy a developing and steal somebody's chance at life! Don't want a child? then either be very careful or don't have sex!

Where do you draw the line on abortions?

But see I dunno if I would say I'm antinatlist in the sense that it's not because of any philosophy or personal feelings towards kids I'm just thinking big picture. The world can't support an ever growing human population eventually it will be our ruin. I'm thinking about resources and over population not anything more then that. In 1900 there was something like 1 billion people it took hundreds of thousands of years to reach that number and it has what, more then quadrupled in the 100 years since. That's not sustainable.

There are more than enough resources to sustain everyone currently, and the entire human population could fit comfortably in Texas. The problem is distribution of resources
 
12 weeks sounds like a good treshold to me. Three months to find out if you're pregnant and decide if you want the kid seems fair. I wouldn't be opposed to raising (or even lowering) if there was a strong medical argument for it.
