For the average person, they have until they are 21 to try and get the credits needed to graduate. If they can't get it in that time, then they can no longer attend a public high school and have to go to a GED program or something. I'm going out on a limb that if he has the "mentality of a first grader and the intelligence of a second grader", his grandparents milked the sped class in high school as a bonafide free day care. I don't blame them, but I'm certain the concept of graduating was above this guy's head.

Also, special education students often stay in high school until 22 because they might need the extra time to get their diploma, or they might be in a program that teaches independent living skills and job stuff.

Just now getting caught up on his recent uploads, and wow that "Aaron Planet" stuff came out of left field. Ironically I was just recently plugging things like "alien" and "moon" into the search bar on his channel.
