A more realistic racism hypothetical - Selfilsh billionaire vs billionaire who helps poor people of their race

Lets say there are two billionaires. They got rich providing value to people of all ethnicities.

• One of them spends the money mostly on themselves.
• The other spends it mostly on their selves, but also bankrolls a school for poor girls of her ethnicity overseas.

Which do you consider a worse person? (Assume you aren't of their race)
What additional factors might change your decision.
A real person inspired this hypothetical, but it isn't about her.

Oprah Winfrey's school for black girls in South Africa resulted in raped children, millions in embezzled funds, and substandard/no education for many of the intended students.

There are definitely some children out there who are in such bad circumstances that any intervention is better than no intervention. But I think this is one of those cases where maybe the children would have been better off going to shitty government schools where there was a lower chance of getting raped.

There are definitely some children out there who are in such bad circumstances that any intervention is better than no intervention. But I think this is one of those cases where maybe the children would have been better off going to shitty government schools where there was a lower chance of getting raped.
