Beast Boy/Michelangelo noooooo! And that line-up of voice actors makes me so sad because they're so talented, and then they pull this shit. (I mean, yes, it's no different from when
Tiny Toons and
Animaniacs did it, but they weren't so in-your-face about it
then. They also weren't very mean-spirited about it.)
When are people going to realize/learn that making Pop Culture: The Series doesn't automatically make it
timeless? They
can be done well, but it will still age a series if it doesn't have anything else to bring to the table. And I don't see this one being any different due to its blatancy.
Despite the impersonation being pretty spot-on for Rump, the art-style's insipid and uninspiring (only thing that's funny is Kim Jong Un being portrayed as a pig, but all of the animal caricatures are still pretty fucking obvious that it's not clever), and the animation is as limited as it gets in modern-day animation--although granted, this was probably done on no budget since they need that money anyway, but still, if that's the best they got, it's laughable. This is going to be forgotten when all of this blows over.

106 backers, and $19,000. Good God, did they
all have nearly
200 bucks to blow out of their asses?
