Something that I believe is an integral part to com, and the edgesphere at large is the gore-CSAM pipeline. Habitual gore viewing has been tenatively linked to becoming a CSAM viewer, as peoples brains get so desensitized to seeing such horror at a large scale. They need more extremity to feel something. I've heard that people oftentimes get recruited into the com through places like bestgore and watchpeopledie. I'm not saying that gore should be made illegal, or that everyone who has ever watched gore as a teenager is bound to become a hurtcore pedophile, but the connection does seem to be there.
I wondered the same thing. I mentioned it earlier in the thread, wondering if there was a link between old gore compilation videos produced by Baffometi.
Completely agree, it also falls to the over-consumption of pornography. The brain simply becomes bored with the things it's seen and done, which leads to the search for more extreme or "fulfilling" means. Considering lots of these people live online, they are likely fast-tracking this process, especially with the ill influence of those who are already at the bottom of the rung - and the nature of lonely/ isolated teenagers already being easily impressionable.

Zachary Sweeney of Tennessee busted after getting raided 3 years ago.
NASHVILLE – An indictment was unsealed today charging Zachary Sweeney, 30, of Columbia, Tennessee, with multiple counts of child sexual exploitation, announced United States Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee Braden H. Boucek. According to court documents, Sweeney has been connected to Nihilistic Violent Extremist (“NVE”) groups similar to “764”.
“Violent extremists who victimize vulnerable children online are among the worst predators in our community and across the country,” said United States Attorney Braden H. Boucek. “Our office and our law enforcement partners will do whatever it takes to stop these predators from harming more children and hold them accountable for the damage they have already caused.”
“This operation puts every child predator on notice: the FBI will hunt you down and bring you to justice," said Special Agent in Charge Terence G. Reilly of the FBI Nashville Field Office. “Removing violent extremists from our streets protects our most innocent and vulnerable members of society. The FBI will continue to work with our partners across the state of Tennessee to aggressively investigate those who seek to exploit or harm them."
According to court documents, Sweeney has an extensive history of engaging in criminal conduct related to the exploitation of minors, including conduct related to NVEs. NVEs are individuals who engage in criminal conduct within the United States and abroad, in furtherance of political, social, or religious goals that derive primarily from a hatred of society at large and a desire to bring about its collapse by sowing indiscriminate chaos, destruction, and social instability.
According to court documents, investigations by the Federal Bureau of Investigation into Sweeney’s conduct revealed multiple allegations of victimization of minors by Sweeney from at least 2022 until 2025. Sweeney has on numerous occasions, groomed and coerced minors into producing Child Sexual Abuse Material (“CSAM”), distributed and in some cases sold this material, and traveled to meet with minor victims during which time he is alleged to have drugged, raped, and filmed sexual acts with the minors. Additionally, Sweeney has committed these acts for, and engaged in others consistent with, the group 764 and its affiliates. These include coercing minors to self-harm, sending them drugs to take and stream themselves committing sexual acts and acts of self-harm online, and making threats of swatting and doxxing.
One prior victim alleged that she began interacting with Sweeney around the age of 16 or 17. She reported to investigators that Sweeney requested sexual images and videos of her and convinced her to make fan signs, specifically directing her to cut or carve his nickname into herself or use her blood to write it on herself. The victim reported that Sweeney was part of a group of people she described as friends of his in “the Com.” In these servers, the victim participated in virtual self-harm group video calls with members of the server in which she would do a variety of degrading things to herself for the members of the server. Some of these things included cutting herself, drinking toilet water, and smearing blood all over herself while on live stream. She did these activities while she was naked and members of the group, including Sweeney, would record videos of her actions. The victim reported being aware of other underage females that Sweeney had victimized and of whom he possessed “collections” of nudes and blackmail material. The victim further reported that Sweeney occasionally shared his screen with her and showed her these “collections,” including files with folders that were identified by the username of the alleged underage female victim. This victim later died of an overdose. Another witness confirmed that Sweeney had live streamed a sexual assault of the victim online.
Sweeney allegedly traveled to New York, Indiana, Missouri and Georgia to meet numerous victims in person. Officials received reports from some of his alleged victims and online platforms, triggering FBI interviews with some of his alleged victims as early as 2023.
One of his alleged victims, who began interacting with Sweeney when she was a teenager, told investigators she degraded herself and participated in virtual self-harm group video calls with a group of people she described as friends of his in The Com. Sweeney alleged raped her and streamed the crime online.
She died of an overdose in 2024, approximately ten days after FBI agents interviewed her.
Sweeney allegedly drugged and raped other victims and shared videos of those acts online, according to court records.
The FBI searched Sweeney’s residence in St. Louis in September 2023, more than two months after Meta sent a pair of tips to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that linked him to Instagram chats containing CSAM.
Agents seized devices containing evidence of 99 possible CSAM images and videos, but encryption and passwords prevented authorities from conducting further examination, according to court records.
Sweeney moved to Tennessee in the summer of 2024 and allegedly continued to travel out of state to meet victims in person and coerce other victims to produce CSAM through at least the summer of 2025.

Not to let the guy off of the hook but the girl he was requesting pics from was being told what to do by Schutz (@boundtoliz at the time) in a public telegram channel dedicated solely to celebrating Kyle's arrest called "Ruin of Kyle Willaim Spitze Crimin" I wonder if that ever came up in court.
These are from the first version of Schutz's channel (Feb 9, 2024) before he deleted it and made a new version on March 11, 2024. The first version of the channel also included videos of a girl cutting for Schutz and writing "Shutz + Yusek cucked Kyle" in blood on the wall but that was removed in the second version of the channel. These videos too were removed in the second version.

According to the government's sentencing memo, Michael Spitze "inundated" the 15-year-old with phone calls, money (approximately 13 times), requested selfies to send to his son in custody, directed her to create an online profile that allowed his son to communicate with her some 51 times, asked what information she'd given the police and "told her to destroy any evidence she might have against his son and requested she tell others to do the same."
Don't feel bad. They barely mention it, so it's easy enough to miss. The article says he did it to other victims, too, so it isn't just one person he asked for selfies/to get rid of evidence. The dad earned it fair and square.

But i mean in general people do seek out more hardcore stuff to scratch that itch. Mormonistic ideals aside, there's some very specific keyholes that lead an individual down this path of the extremist. The most important one is the "Grievance of Worthlessness/Not mattering" That's where most, if not all spirals into extremism begin "I do not feel appreciated/I do not feel like I have power/freedom in my life" It is one of the reasons why most of the people involved are young adult men and boys ranging from 12-24 years old, because that is usually the "emo" phase of life and are very vulnerable to the programming that occurs. In simpler times, the concept of a terrorist who is a young man or terrorist was an outlier, more often than not, you'd have someone in their 30's-50's with a personalized grievance, and if it was discovered the perp was a young man or a minor, they were often victims of a previous abuser. Things are a little bit different nowadays, with the advent of the terminally online individual, and truly global internet. Radicalization is much more effective and virulent in this modern day and age than it ever was.
For this particular barrel of fish, the other keyholes are "Involved in social media circles such as Telegram, Discord, or Social Medias that are often negative political in nature, that reiterates the "You are nothing, you mean nothing" that leads to more "doompilling" The more worthless/meaningless someone feels, the likely they are to be programmed by the predators in the various groups, which more often than not, some relation to Anti West sentiment groups. It is, unironically, hilariously, an active hunting and feeding ground for glowing agents to run wild; however said glowing agents, are not from the West, but rather from places that very much have anti West sentiments.
