I cannot help myself but fucking hell, I feel so bad for those poor animals. You can see clearly that Amber is hiding Twinkie's uncut nails, that poor dog must be in great pain. I mean people have been telling her for 6 months to cut Twinkie's nails, but no. And those poor cats seem to get no affection at all besides the ''oooooooh look at wataaabiiiii'' and ''looooook at lalityyyyy''. Who the hell buys a 22 pound bag of cat food for two small cats? Necky and Hamber go to the grocery store every single day, wouldn't a 7 pound bag be just fine? Ya know, give them some variety occasionally aside from the old ass kibble and dollar store treats.

Pets are obviously the last priority to your gorl.

And unless those big bags are put into containers to seal and keep the kibble fresh it gets stale and nasty after awhile. My cat won't eat gross stale kibble.
 
Good god, watching her maneuver herself out of the car and lumber across the parking lot, her joints must be screaming under all that weight. I wonder how soon she'll need knee and hip replacements.

She will never ever look like that. You can’t go from 500 lbs monster to fitness babe. Even if by some divine miracle she loses almost 400 lbs, she’ll be drowning in loose skin. Skin removal surgeries can help, but they aren’t a time machine. She’ll have more scars than Frankenstein’s monster and her skin will be very loose all over her body, even her face. Moreover, achieving that look would take her years of hard work in the gym. Let’s say she’ll need 4 years to lose the weight (2 lbs per week), 2 years for her weight to stabilize and for her to undergo plastic surgery, and maybe 2 years of exercise. That gives us 8 years of constant work, and were being fucking optimistic as fuck. It’s more like 10+ years, if ever. By the time she’s done, she’ll be 35-40 years old. Way, way, waaaaaay past the age to look like the picture.

She’s too stupid to realize the immense task ahead of her. That’s why she’s taking it so lightly. She thinks she can turn her life around in a year or so. Same with Chantal, who thought she was gonna be beach-ready this summer.

Then there is the lymphedema.

She’s 5ft2, right? At 508 lbs her BMI is 93. She’d have to go below 275 to have a BMI below 50, which would still be class 3 obesity (high risk), by the way. She’d have to drop below 160 to be considered overweight and 135 to be normal weight. Sometimes I forget she is quite short. The camera can be misleading. In real life, she must look like a giant beach ball.

She has to lose 370 pounds. Dayum. The loose skin will make her look like a sugar glider.

There's no way she'll ever look like that. :lol: Let's not even focus on how rough her saggy body would look if she lost a ton of weight. Let's focus on the face alone. In that picture, the "model" has more eyebrows, wider eyes, a thinner nose, and a full bottom lip. That stuff won't magically happen. Extreme weight loss and plastic surgery wouldn't leave her looking that good. Seeing that picture didn't inspire her to get her act together; she still went out to eat.

Most of the people on My 600 Pound Life don’t get below 250 pounds, both the women and the men. They’re fortunate if they even get down to that weight.

Amber has to come to terms with the fact that her body is never going to be a “pretty body.” At least in the conventional sense. She’s never going to have the kind of smooth and generally unmarked flesh that women in their 20’s and 30’s have. Hers will always be lumpy, misshapen, scarred, and discolored. She seems to operate under the assumption that once she’s free of the excess weight her body will be a normal body, and you never get to have a normal body when you’ve gotten so obese.

She should want to save her own life and make peace with whatever body comes with that.

I remember one vlog where Amber showed us how she feeds her cats (can't remember the exact vlog, cuz ya know, they all the same) but she basically just took the huge bag of kibble, poured two massive cups of food on top of the old kibble in the massive dog bowl.. I think a lot of people mentioned it in the comments but it's Amber, she doesn't care. Poor kitties.

She’ll never be beautiful. She probably wouldn’t have been if she’d never gained the weight but now it’s impossible.

What she should want is to walk with ease, and without huffing and puffing and putting strain on her heart. She should want to not to have to turn sideways going through doors, to not have to think about food every walking minute of her day, and to not get sicker and sicker and in more pain with the load she’s putting on it.

Appearance should have zero to do with any of her desires at this point-it should all be function and freedom.
