Going through my screenshots of old chan posts made me realize that I haven't been there in a very long time, but here are some that still make me laugh.
Maybe people in this thread will remember who I'm talking about: I think they went by/were called "Smiley", but not the baby-back bitch Fringe guy, he has a thread already.
Smileyposter was either on 4/a/ or 8/a/, though I can't remember which.
They had a tumblr where they posted pictures of a strangely fleshy doll with a poorly made mask-thing wrapped on its head, I think it was supposed to be a preserved human corpse.
They had threads on whichever board it was a few times.
I remember a general inclination of the whole thing being fucking bizarre, though my memory is fuzzy. I think the person (or a copycat) made some freaky posts and rambling obsessively about the doll.
They seem to have disappeared off of the face of the earth, but if anyone has caps or archives they'd make a great contribution to the thread. Somewhere near the top of my wtf scale as far as imageboards go.
Ever since the election last year, /r/the-donald refugees have been shitting up /v/ and /tv/ nonstop. For the most part they've been using Wolfenstein's shit sales as a way to get their threads going without them immediately getting deleted. It would be genius if it weren't so retardedly transparent.
Most of the really shitty lolcows are tripfags. Unless you're deliberately being an annoying prick, there's rarely any good reason for using a trip. The worst are the ones with secure tripcodes, like someone is gonna make fuckin rainbow tables to steal your dumbass trip.
Rewatching this video reminds me how despite all the external changes, 4chan has fundamentally remained the same. 4chan has always been both an internet hate machine and a meme factory, whether they were exporting lolcats or Pepes, or whether they were targeting Scientology or Clinton.
