Should I even bother coming here and complaining about how bad /co/ has gotten. Look I know they're one of the most autistic boards on the site but at least a few years ago there would be industry leaks or cool behind the scenes shit. I was baffled checking the board after the Shrek 5 trailer dropped and seeing nothing but fucking ai slop and soft core porn. I just wanted to read anons calling the trailer fake and gay or something it's all so tiresome. These days I just use Lolcow farm or here to read reactions to animation and shit.

I've been noticing these gooner theme day threads are starting to collapse in on themselves. Same fanart, same posts, same weird devotion to keeping the schedule. There were 3 butt threads at the same time yesterday for some reason.

I understand the appeal they'd have for gooners over a decade ago--you might get an edit or free anon art. But now? Why bother? Seeing the slow death of 4chan since 2016 feels surreal.

Yeah. I'm not going anywhere though, 4chan still has some value from time to time even if it's rapidly turning into a dumping ground for Twitter's refuse.

4chan still has some value from time to time

The space in-between those times grows larger and larger.
At this point I only go on 4chan when I'm trying to wake up. I open it on my phone and it goes to /tv/ automatically. I read the first thread OP, get mad, decide to reply, realize that my android mobile app hasn't been able to post for 8+ years, then close it and switch to coffee.

The humans are too bot-like and the bots are too human-like.

Null posted a video about the tunnel tranny and it reminded me of the 4chan user who bought a home with tunnels under it and would constantly post pics of it, does anyone remember this guy or have pics of the tunnels?

The guy mostly posted on /k/ and would post pics of his homemade slamfire shotguns and ceramic tile body armor down in the tunnels.

IIRC he claimed the house had previously belonged to a guy who kidnapped a person(child?) and held them in his rape dungeon but the dungeon section had been blocked off and filled in I think the kidnapping case may have had its own Wikipedia article.

I haven’t posted on 4chan from a PC since 2015 and my post quality has unironically gotten worse. In the past I used to edit and collect reaction images but that itself is obsolete and pointless. There’s nothing but soyjaks until the powergrid finally dies.
