And i thought /a/ was the only board with people unironically proud of browsing 4chan

There's also the janny/mod situation that truly came to light recently but i'll just say I personally haven't had many bad experiences with mods but it's definitely left a negative impact on certain boards like /v/ where it's very obvious jannys allow gacha, loli, and "sfw" porn threads up all day all the time despite there being other boards where that shit is supposed to go and it floods the board.
The funniest thing is that they love to schizopost and blame tendies for their threads getting pruned every now and then.

I've probably used 4chan less in this past year since the hack than any other year before like, 2011. The illusion's been broken now that the curtain was pulled back, it's not as fun anymore.
Some threads keep trying to drag me back but the site is just too much of a shithole to use. It's this strange feeling. Self respect?
It was nice browsing some selected b4k archives for the recent UNDERTALE streams but that pretty much sums it all up. Selected posts on an archive.
Total DNB.

I don't think there is anywhere else on the internet where I could discuss an old, somewhat forgotten show i'm watching like Oz (HBO), for example, multiple times a week. It doesn't have to be a discussion with a hard topic, it just creates a space where people can just talk about or give random opinions about something they're interested in and there just isn't anywhere else (in english) like that. And of course, 4chan is a place where you can literally say whatever you want and not be directly punished because you did a racism or it's the "wrong" opinion (i.e. downvotes on reddit)
You can discuss Oz here or on Reddit multiple times a week.

4chan bans you for racism and the wrong opinion. Most this thread is people complaining they got banned for doing a bit of racism.

For something like ten years I never got a ban there posting pretty much how I do here (other than the occasional humorous ban from some dipshit who had previously used a dynamic IP I got assigned), but the last time I did any posting there (probably something like 2018 or so) it would seem I'd get banned every other post for totally trivial bullshit.
I was racking up racism outside of /b/s when I wasn't even being racist :story:

RapeApe has a twitter account but no one here knows it exists.

My hunch is that this is 50% related to a 4chan.gay troll or it's someone worse using a big proxy to 'p nuke the board.

It's 'p.
There's been a few days recently where I've checked /int/ and seen 'p being spammed
Most of the generals have 'p spammers
4chan is dead in the water

I remember @nigger froot worked to solve this problem on the sharty when the responsibility fell on him, because the fbi sucks.

RapeApe has a shit php codebase to work with and has no devs so he's just fucked.
It would take literally no effort to implement a similar image approval system as the sharty

I think everything in terms of how the site operates on a day to day level is so disjointed, that the focus would of been get the site up. Have to get the money coming back in and not loose too many users. I have my suspicions that some of the spam threads that are left up are jannies doing it to create the illusion of more active users. I have no clue what the percentage of lurkers is anymore
