No one really knows. Best explanation I can come up with is that this is some sort of club for celebrities and elites, with the initiation being punched in the face really hard and then walking around in public with a black eye.

seems far fetched, but considering secret organizations (masons/triads/skull&bones) have secret handshakes, that pedophile organizations like pizza gate use pizza toppings as codewords for child sextrafficking, and that these organizations use symbols to openly communicate to its adepts in plain view. I don't think it should be dismissed outright. On the other hand, they propagate and push fake signals like the white power hand symbol, or the flat earth movements to muddy the waters on whats real.

I think it should be noted, but not focused too much on until something tangible is found connecting to this phenomena.
