I don't get why nigger is such a controversial word to begin with, it'd be one thing if I would say to a black person "You're a fucking subhuman nigger slave". But the word nigger is hardly the reason that statement would be bad, then again, most people who complain about that word also do not actually care about genuine racial discrimination. This is especially evident in how little issue they have with discriminating any light-skinned ethnicities.
